Sunday, January 30 3:00 p.m. "Discovering Vorticism" On the occasion of the opening of the temporary exhibition The Vorticists: rebel artists in London and New York, 1914–1918, children will be introduced to the prominent artists of the movement, such as Wyndham Lewis and Helen Saunders. During this workshop, the partecipants will specifically familiarize with the constituent ideas of Vorticism: the two-dimensional representation of the dynamic and energetic movement, along with the use of abstract geometric elements (zigzag lines and diagonal forms).
