Florence 23 May-7June 2008From the pages to the stage, Florence English Speaking Theater Artists (FESTA) brings Lewis Carroll’s classic, Alice in Wonderland, to life this May and June at the Teatro Lungo Binario in Florence.
A theatrical experience unlike any other, Alice in Wonderland, FESTA transforms the beloved children’s story into an enchanting cultural experience, retold through alternating dialogues in Italian and English. The result is a melodic performance made even more spectacular by the colorful scenery, live music, and cast of international actors, both young and old.
Alice in Wonderland will be performed at Teatro Lungo Binario, located next to Stazione Leopolda. Show times are 8:30 pm (Friday and Saturday, May 23, 24, 30, 31 and June 6, 7)and 5 pm (Sunday, May 25, June 1, 8). Tickets are 12 Euro for adults, 8 for children, and are avaiable at the door.
Teatro Binario Lungarno is located off of Viale Fratelli Rosselli number 11, between Porta il Prato and Stazione Leopolda. Parking is plentiful.
